Lets start:
Who is Wanda’s big baddy?
My guess goes like this. Paul Bettany very excitedly said he always wanted to work with this actor. This would imply he/she was famous and probably older then Bettany.
I don’t expect it to be IanMcKellen or Patrick Stewart. If Marvel does an X-Men movie they will be looking at an almost ten year period for at least three films. Both actors are 80, far too old. Also Bettany worked with McKellen on DiVinci code. Patrick Stewart has stated after Disney bought Fox he told Feige he wasn’t interested in playing the role of Xavier again and considered his death in Logan to be final.
My guess is Al Pacino. He is a legendary actor who has had an amazing career. He has the look, voice and personality, see The Devil’s Advocate (1997) with Keanu Reeves. (Of course it could be Keanu Reeves too, but let’s focus on Pacino)

What character will it be?
Most likely Ralph not Senior Scratchy.
Way too much online speculation has focused on the Chinese government frowning on supernatural characters. They allowed the 2019 “Hellboy” reboot to open last year and he looks like Satan and is from Hell itself.
However using an actor like Al Pacino would allow WandaVision to have him play one of the many Marvel evil supernatural characters. Later when translating into Chinese Marvel can change the name and dialogue to be whatever is allowed by Chinese censors. So Mephisto, Nightmare, Chthon, Dormammu, etc, are all in play and honestly it doesn’t really matter as long as they appear in human form. Of course if he is a CGI monster with the actors voice then ignore everything I just said.
I still have to think he could be just be called Grim Reaper. Remember the Bewitched episode opening animation? There is something in the basement ceiling that looks a hell of a lot like his helmet.
Keep in mind Marvel has combined characters many times in the past. Whiplash/Crimson Dynamo, EGO/Spartax and Hella/Gorr the God Butcher. So the new character could be some sort of combination.
Will Wanda kill the villain?
Well since he is probably undead it will be like Quicksilver said “it’s not like your dead husband can die twice.” My bet is this villain, especially if it’s played by a major actor, will return in Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. In theaters who knows when.
Is Quicksilver a bad guy?
My guess is Agnes just put a spell on him. If he is still under the spell he might fight Monica, however if Wanda’s blast awakened him then he may end up helping her. Will they explain why they chose the X-Men Quicksilver? Since Dr Strange 2 is called Multiverse of Madness and Wanda is the confirmed co-star, it is fair to guess he is a from another part of the Multiverse, who was hexed-in through the Nexus.
What is the book?
It could be Darkhold which appeared in Agents of SHIELD, however they may not use that name again. There are many evil books/tomes in Marvel’s history. Wasn’t there a magic book missing in Dr. Strange? Most likely the bad guy is stuck inside the book or they need Wanda’s powers to use the book to hex him into the real world. Maybe those roots in the cellar pull Wanda’s magic from the town.
With the Nexus will they show Man-Thing?
That is a really weird question. They used to show man-thing on Game of Thrones, but that was HBO. I don’t think Marvel will show that kind of stuff.
Is the Engineer really a nobody character?
Marvel may have thrown us a red herring. However she may be Monica’s Skrull childhood friend from Captain Marvel.
Who will survive?
In an interview Elizabeth Olsen referred to the (whole) story as “Sad.” What does that mean for Vision, Quicksilver and the twins? It really saddens me but this may just be a mini-series not season 1 of an ongoing series. It is possible they may all disappear. Just Wanda’s fantasy. However Monica said she knew the twins were real. So Billy and Tommy may survive outside the bubble. Perhaps Marvel is setting up a Young Avengers movie or are planning to slowly incorporate those characters into the Marvel universe first.
Update: Wednesday Kevin Feige said right now WandaVision is a one-time mini-series and there are currently no plans for another season. I guessed that one correctly. Let’s see how I do Friday.
Vision? Well… his staying dead would indeed make it “Sad.” He could be nothing more than Wanda animating a synthoid corpse, thus not being able to survive outside the hex bubble. We saw that when he left the hex last episode. However I really like the character and Paul Bettany. And with this amazing show, even more now. However Marvel has to watch the “bringing dead characters back to life” thing. In the Star Trek movies the creators said no main characters would die in future movies because once they brought Spock back fans wouldn’t care.
Hey, cheer-up Marvel brought back half the universe remember?
Quicksilver? Fans say maybe Marvel is setting-up an X-men movie. My guess is No, they really need to give the X-men a break. Maybe five years down the road, post Fantastic Four, with a whole new cast. So Quicksilver may not leave the Hex bubble. However, if he was really brought in from another multiverse then he would be “real” like the twins and perhaps he could stay and post Fox merger, Marvel could finally have the character back. However he could just get Nexus-ed back to his multiverse when then hex shuts down.
And what about Ultron?
Here is my wildest guess. I explained in another post James Spader is on the cast list as “Ultron (voice).” It could just be a voice in Wandas head as the bad guys torment her. Thats my #2 guess.
My #1 is: F-cking Hayward.
Perhaps Ultron is who Hayward made his deal with “to keep the lights on” at SWORD. Perhaps they were messing with Vision’s corpse and released a copy of Ultron’s AI backed-up in his memory. Perhaps they have him fire-walled into a lab computer. After all who would be better than Ultron to help SWORD with its sentient weapons program?
How about: Final episode is over, then mid-credits Ultron speaks to Hayward setting up another Marvel series? Armor Wars? Something with sentinels?
Hopefully Ultron will just not be in Vision’s body. That would also make me “Sad.”
